What Rechtstreeks stores here
The optional key rechtstreeks.family-preview.preferences.v1 contains only the version, motion on/off and expiry time. It is stored locally for up to 90 days only if you choose Remember on this device. Your device’s reduced-motion preference always takes priority.
Your personal session
The necessary cookie rt_family_member holds a random session key for My Rechtstreeks. It applies only to the personal Rechtstreeks API, is Secure and HttpOnly, and uses SameSite Strict. Without Remember, it is a session cookie valid on the server for up to 12 hours. Choosing Stay signed in for 30 days sets a maximum of 30 days. Signing out ends this family session. Any session through the earlier Rechtstreeks entry is managed separately.
The existing private backend saves your profile and your own business example after an explicit save. The fictional portal uses only tab memory. The separate free CV builder also writes no CV text to localStorage or any other storage. Your browser may temporarily remember entered fields. Personal data is not stored in display preferences.
Manage it yourself
Use Forget my preference in the preference window or delete site data in your browser. Without local preference storage, display choices still work for the current page. My Rechtstreeks needs the necessary session cookie. Use Sign out to end your personal session.
