Clearly arranged
Accessibility
A clear story should also be easy to read and use.
Keyboard controls
The website uses recognisable headings, links and buttons. A skip link at the top leads to the content. Tab moves through controls; Escape closes an open menu or dialog. Tab groups also support the arrow keys, Home and End.
Reduced motion
We follow your device’s reduced-motion preference. You can also pause motion or change it under Display and privacy. Content and controls remain available in the calmer mode.
Images, sound and video
Images have text alternatives where needed. No sound plays automatically. Planned videos currently appear as content outlines. Subtitles, a readable text version and on-demand controls form part of preparing real recordings for publication.
Readability
The site adapts to smaller screens and remains usable when zoomed. Colour is not the only way choices or status are indicated. Main text uses dark lettering on a light background.
Having trouble getting further?
The contact example shows how to prepare a question, but sends nothing. Note which page causes difficulty and, if you wish, the browser or assistive tools you use. Discuss it through your existing contact with us. Share only what is needed to understand the problem.
